Production (film/video), Post-Production (editing) and Alternative Media (pod-casting, video streaming etc.) Company. A growing small business based in Central Harlem, NY, is looking for an editing assistant for its Post-Production Department.
Job Description:
Need interns for work as needed who are knowledgeable of all aspects of video and film editing. Stipend and transportation will be paid. Great opportunity to work with an established entrepreneur, filmmaker and gain experience. Applicant should be reliable, dependable, serious, and passionate and is interested in learning about the film, video business from the ground up. Projects vary in assignments.
Job Qualifications:
Must have at least 1 – 3 years hands on experience with editing ideally with knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Avid. Have knowledge of all areas of video editing and experience working in a Post-Production house. Knowledge of internet, video web streaming, computer graphics, video pod-casting, etc, is a plus but not a requirement. College students and grads may apply.
