Has Ryze just become a spam network? | Views: 556 |

mpwilson | | A long time ago I used to get a lot out of ryze. But over the last several months, it seems that every message posted to every forum I'm a member of is just some kind of spam.
The NYC network page has a reference to the OCTOBER event.
Is there any reason to be here any more?Private Reply to mpwilson |

Zamarud Zargar | | I do not think so. The network is growing day by day. Thanks. Zamarud Private Reply to Zamarud Zargar |

Richard Kuper | | Ryze NYC has no administrator and that is why there is a problem. Both Scott and I tried (independent of each other) a very long time ago (note that the October reference is for 2005 and the Feb event reference is for 2006) to contact the management of Ryze to pick up the administration of this network, but Ryze management took months to reply, and then said they were more interested in building the website and not interested in NYC events or this Network. (It's been over a year now and I haven't noticed any significant changes in the Ryze website).
Perhaps if the rest of the Ryze NYC network would, en masse, contact Ryze management and tell them what is going on here, maybe, just maybe, they will pay attention. If not, the NYC network will continue to get bombarded with spam.

Andy Preston | | It seems to be very much that these days.
I'm trying to organise to meet a few of my NYC networking contacts when I'm over on Friday 16th March at lunchtime, but after a number of PM's (including a couple to this NY group's leader) I've had no replies.
I'm not sure how much value this network is adding if it's just a SPAM list for prople's products?
If anyone is genuine and does want to meet up and network, please send me a private message or sign my guestbook.
Hoping to meet some of you and introduce you to my other networking contacts.....

Anya Feinberg | | Hi Richard,
thank you for trying - I do appreciate your postings. ryze does not exist. It is going running on old steam. What has changed for the better in the last 2 years - nothing. so use it for what it is.

Joseph L. Rosenberg | | Hi Andy: As you know I'm going to try to see you and all our other friends when you arrive March 16. I would recommend you post your get together as a NEW thread here so people will see it, instead of being buried in a spam thread. The other thing I would do is list it in the events section like you did when you came to NYC previously. That way every New Yorker getting the weekly emails will see it. Of course you may need a larger room to hold everyone but we'll figure that out then. Joe Rosenberg CPAPrivate Reply to Joseph L. Rosenberg |
