Michael Lemm
How would you like to talk to anyone you want, as often as you want, and talk as long as you want....for less than $20 a month?

That use to be a pipe dream not too long ago. But now you can do that....with Packet8.

PLUS....you can get your 1st month FREE. Unlimited calling for only $19.99/month after that....with our standard 30 day money back guarantee too.

http://cognigen.net/packet8/?mscprez

For those who don't know....Packet8 is a broadband (VoIP) phone with flat rate unlimited calling plan to all of USA and Canada for < $20/month (called Freedom Unlimited). There's also an international flat rate unlimited plan for $49.99 a month.

Also, since it's a broadband phone you can take it with you when you travel....as long as you can access high speed internet wherever you are....with the same cost for your calls anywhere in the world as if you were still "home".

Packet8 is the top rated broadband phone service....by virtue of numerous industry awards....for the residential and small-medium business community. No stupid marketing jingles like Vonage....just full featured quality service at the best price in the market.

How it Works:

Packet8 uses your existing high-speed Internet connection (DSL or Cable) to deliver high quality phone service at dramatically lower rates than the phone companies. You won’t even have to buy new phone to use our service. Your existing phone will work just fine. Instead of plugging it into a wall jack, we’ll send you a free phone adapter that connects to your high-speed Internet connection. Just plug your phone into the adapter, start making calls and start saving money!

Get yours for free....and try it out for 30 days. You'll definitely be happy that you did:

Here's just a few of the impressive features.....INCLUDED FREE:

VOICEMAIL TO EMAIL NOTIFICATION

Packet8 now allows you to receive an email notification with the actual message attached as an audio file every time you receive a voicemail message.

You will be able to forward voicemails to others as an email attachment or even save them to your PC's hard drive for future reference.

FOLLOW ME, FIND ME

Packet8's Follow Me, Find Me feature is a combined hunting and multi- ringing function that allows you to enter up to five sets of phone numbers to ring in sequence. For example: you can set your mobile phone number as well as your office phone number to ring when your Packet8 home number is not answered.

When a call comes in and you are not at home, after ringing the assigned number of times, the call will cease to ring on the Packet8 home number and then move on to ringing the mobile phone. Then if there's no answer on the mobile, the call moves on to ringing your office number. If there's still no answer, the call can then be guided to your voicemail box.

SIMULTANEOUS RINGING ON MULTIPLE PHONE NUMBERS

The Simultaneous Ring feature will allow multiple phone lines to ring at the same time, including standard PSTN numbers. With this feature, you will never miss a call.

7-DIGIT LOCAL DIALING

Now, dialing locally is as easy as 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. You no longer need to dial 1 plus your area code when calling any number within the same area code as your primary Packet8 number. [common requirement of broadband phones like Vonage]

VOCE MAIL FROM ANYWHERE

After you make 7-digit local dialing your default, you will be able to check your voicemail by dialing your Packet8 phone number or **012- 0555.

NETWORK UNAVAILABLE FORWARDING

If, for some reason your Internet connection goes down, you will lose Packet8 phone service until it is restored. However, you won't lose callers as they can be automatically forwarded to any other number (like a cell phone) that you have pre-programmed.

CALL WAITING DISABLE *70 per call or all calls

You can disable call waiting in two easy ways:

1) On a per call basis - By dialing *70 before making your call, you can disable the call waiting feature for that specific call. Doing this will send all incoming callers to voicemail or present a busy tone if voicemail is disabled while you are on the call.

2) For all calls - By logging into your Account Details page, you can enable/disable your Call Waiting feature for all calls made.

Enjoy.......

I've known three small businesses who switched to VOIP and have regretted it. The phone connection quality is variable sounding sometimes like they were in a tunnel. And, they were missing phone calls due to poor internet connections. 30 days may not be ample time for testing this.

Kathy,

Situations such as you describe may happen I agree....but are uncommon. When they do occur the culprit isn't VoIP or broadband phone methodology as you're alluding to (or even the provider in most cases).....but rather the quality of the internet connection and/or the set-up was done improperly. Testing and trouble shooting fixes those every time when done right.

Common concern....and common misconception when discussing broadband phone services and technology.

I would have thought that this type of unabashed spam selling was prohibited here at Ryze. I guess this network is no more than a place for people who have products that can't sell through normal channels, and they simply spam lists like this. Packet8 is one of the worst VoIP providers out there and anyone hawking their service is suspect.

Worst? I guess all the industry awards Packet8 has don't count. You want to talk worst....try Vonage.

Michael,
You are wrong. YOu've posted so many times I can't count and people have told you many times before to stop. I don't have a common misconception. I have worked with "C" level execs of Voip companies who would not turn their own companies over to 100% Voip as opposed to using land lines. Why? The connection quality and internet variables. That says it all for me.

Happy New Year!

I would agree with Kathy. VOIP is not there yet!
